Job Summary: 
Semtech’s Signal Integrity Products (SIP) group designs and manufactures high performance mixed-signal integrated circuits for the world’s leading data, video, and consumer communication companies. We are looking for someone who loves working at the cutting edge of technology to develop innovative hardware and software test solutions for our product portfolio. We deliver products to our customers that meet or exceed their quality and performance requirements while achieving the lowest cost of test. Responsibilities:

  • Participate in new product design meetings to drive analog and digital DFT techniques into new designs;

  • Develop and implement high-speed test solutions at package and/or wafer level for new products on the Advantest V93000 test platform, including both software and hardware; 

  • Work with a cross-functional product team to assess and evaluate new designs and provide feedback based on ATE test results;

  • Support product qualification by developing reliability screening solutions to evaluate device performance during life testing; 

  • Collaborate with the Product Engineering to complete ATE characterization to ensure the robustness of IC designs and test solutions;

  • Deploy the solutions to our far-shore OSATs and support the ramp-up to full production;

  • Hold periodic test review meetings with key stakeholders on project teams;

  • Conduct ongoing test time and yield improvements to drive continuous margin improvement;

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline;

  • At least 8 years experience in ATE semiconductor testing; V93000 experience preferred

  • Experience in testing high-speed mixed signal ICs. 

  • Experience in bring-up and support of solutions in offshore test locations;

  • Knowledge of high-speed PCB design concepts and experience in schematic level hardware design
