The Opportunity
The Senior Retail Specialist leads a portfolio of retail accounts across multiple eCommerce platforms (Amazon, Walmart, Target, and others). You will drive client success through data analysis, strategic insights, and account management, while mentoring junior team members and making direct impact on client ROI and company growth.
What You Will Do:
- Manage a portfolio of retail accounts and conduct regular strategic reviews to assess performance and recommend investment changes
- Analyze marketplace data to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable recommendations for improving search rankings and sales
- Develop and execute account strategies to maximize client ROI and retention
- Lead new product launches from data aggregation through onboarding
- Optimize product detail pages, metadata, and backend elements
- Monitor item performance, buy box eligibility, and promotional effectiveness
- Prepare and deliver data-driven presentations and insights to clients and stakeholders
- Support promotional planning, deal submission, and execution
- Maintain accuracy and timeliness of internal and external reporting
- Demonstrate mastery of Flywheel tools and serve as a subject matter expert on eCommerce marketplaces
- Identify process improvements, bugs, and escalation needs
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, and Product teams
- Mentor junior team members and share best practices
- Address complex customer issues and resolve blockers to retention
- Maintain consistent, transparent communication with assigned accounts
Who You Are:
- 2-3+ years of eCommerce, client management, or data analysis experience
- Deep familiarity with eCommerce marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc.)
- Strong data analysis skills with ability to translate insights into compelling stories
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong professional presence
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused
- Collaborative team player who enjoys mentoring and sharing expertise
- Curious learner with desire to develop expertise in eCommerce strategy, merchandising, and data analysis
- Ability to quickly learn new tools and adapt to fast-paced environments
