Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution.

As Sr. Specialist, Product Management, you will lead the full product lifecycle for cybersecurity standards, emphasizing product vision, strategy, and execution. You will help define product roadmaps, drive ideation, and assist with the commercialization of solutions that address critical regulatory and compliance needs.

Your product management expertise will ensure effective collaboration with internal stakeholders to deliver profitable, market-leading products. You'll oversee go-to-market strategies, optimize resources, implement continuous improvements, and manage P&L. Leveraging your deep knowledge of frameworks like PCI DSS and ISO 27001, you will ensure the products remain relevant and secure in a rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape.

This role requires a curious, thoughtful, and analytical person with drive and passion for payments, fraud, and customer experience:


Role
• Take part in the rapid evolution of your products and ensure that our rich value proposition is fully delivered
• Take a data-driven approach to product enhancements, identifying opportunity areas and contributing to the product roadmap, prioritizing work to deliver against key areas of focus
• Understand the Software Development Lifecycle and surface any barriers or obstacles to deliver capabilities on time and budget
• Leverage data & dashboards to quickly identify Product performance challenges, making recommendations on proposed action plans
• Establish and maintain strong two-way communications with our go-to-market teams, customers and partners
• Support the evaluation, piloting and launch of new capabilities for your products;
• Monitor and assess risk of both existing and emerging competitive solutions, seeking to differentiate core capabilities, features and functions to ensure consistent competitive advantage in the marketplace
• Incorporate an understanding of the broader payments ecosystem into ongoing product management (e.g. regulatory, legal, technology, competitive, technology environment etc.)

All About You
• Technical Expertise: A solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and technologies is ideal.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the cybersecurity industry, including current trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices. This helps in making informed decisions and staying ahead of emerging threats.
• Product Development Experience: Proven experience in product management, particularly in software development. This includes skills in product lifecycle management, agile methodologies, and cross-functional team collaboration.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market data, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and make data-driven decisions.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with various teams.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Aptitude for identifying problems, developing solutions, and implementing them efficiently. This is crucial in addressing security vulnerabilities and improving product performance.
• Customer Focus: Understanding customer needs and pain points related to cybersecurity. Ability to translate these insights into product features that enhance security and user experience.
• Project Management Skills: Competence in working on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring timely delivery of product milestones.
• Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying updated with the latest cybersecurity developments and continuously improving skills and knowledge.
