The Opportunity

This position works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division, where we are focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.  

This Sr. Marketing Specialist will be an individual contributor with the ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects. Adapt precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions. This individual will be a generalist responsible for activities across multiple sub families such as: market research, oversight of product development and design. You will participate in activities related to pricing, launching of new products, oversee advertising campaigns, and monitor sales performance.

What You’ll Work On

  • Recommends and implements strategies to achieve marketing goals for assigned products and services for one or more areas, product lines, or market segments.
  • Supports sales and advertising programs including proposal generation.
  • Performs market research projects.
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and two years of experience.
  • Frequently reports to an Advertising/Marketing Communications Manager.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of industry experience.

$86,700.00 – $173,300.00
