About the Role

Join our Implementation Engineering team as a technical expert and trusted advocate, guiding our customers on their journey to success with Rootly.

As an Implementation Engineer you'll be bringing technical expertise to customer implementations and demos. You will develop best practices and content around Incident Management and On-Call, and collaborate across engineering, customer success, support, and product teams to represent the customers’ voice and drive continuous product improvements.

If you’re a developer or technologist who loves discussing technology, working closely with customers across industries, and possesses a problem-solving, can-do mindset, we’d love to meet you as you’ll be joining a team that delivers real value through an industry-leading product.

What You'll Need
  • 5+ years of experience as an Implementation Engineer, Implementation Specialist, Software Engineer, or Sales Engineer, with a passion for working directly with customers.
  • Strong knowledge of APIs and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
  • Hands-on experience with scripting or programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or Go.
  • Understanding of how organizations roll out mission-critical technology.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities while adapting to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with engineers at all levels of an organization.
