As a Senior Solutions Architect at Elastic you will serve as a technical authority and trusted advisor to our sales team, customers, partners and community. You will understand and solve our customer’s business issues with the Elastic Stack, engage the regional Elastic community through events and programs, and enable sales through our Partners. A successful SA at Elastic will be focused on excellence; taking the initiative to improve both themselves and the team through continuous learning and questioning the status quo.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Serve as the go-to technical expert for customers and account teams, guiding them in designing and implementing Elastic solutions.
- Develop a deep understanding of customers’ goals and challenges, aligning Elastic’s capabilities to deliver maximum value.
- Advise customers on best practices, solution architectures, and adoption strategies to ensure long-term success.
- Support sales teams with deep technical expertise, product demonstrations, and proof-of-value engagements.
- Represent Elastic at conferences, meetups, and technical workshops, building relationships and driving product adoption.
- Enable and support channel partners in sales cycles, ensuring they’re equipped to position and implement Elastic’s solutions.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, contribute to internal knowledge-sharing, and help evolve best practices.
- Act as the voice of customers and partners, providing feedback to Elastic’s product and engineering teams to enhance offerings.
What You Bring:
- A strong track record in a technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or consulting role, successfully guiding customers from problem discovery to solution adoption.
- Hands-on experience with modern software platforms, cloud architectures, and distributed systems. Knowledge of Elasticsearch, observability, security, or search solutions is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders, articulate complex concepts clearly, and inspire confidence.
- A passion for understanding customer challenges and crafting solutions that drive business impact.
- A continuous learning mindset, with curiosity and drive to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Comfort with public speaking and the ability to present to audiences of all sizes, from small teams to large conference settings.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% within the region, with occasional international travel.

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary plus a variable component, that together comprise the On-Target Earnings (OTE). The OTE is based on a 70/30 pay mix (base salary / target variable).
The typical starting base salary, variable and OTE range for new hires in this role is listed below. The OTE range represents the lowest to highest OTE we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
An employee's position within the OTE range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program. Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being.

$134,700—$213,100 CAD
The typical starting Target Variable range for this role is:
$57,700—$91,300 CAD
The typical starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for this role is:
$192,400—$304,400 CAD
