Your mission: design and deliver high-quality, production-grade software in an AI-augmented workflow - without compromising engineering rigor, performance, or architectural integrity.
In the near term, you will contribute to the Redjack integration team, ensuring system quality, architectural clarity, and scalable design as multiple AI-assisted development streams run in parallel.

- Maintaining engineering rigor and system quality in an AI-assisted development environment
- Scaling systems while balancing performance, reliability, and architectural clarity
- Coordinating parallel AI-driven development workflows without losing technical coherence
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build maintainable, scalable, observable, and well-tested software systems
- Work in an AI-augmented development workflow: decompose problems, guide AI tools, review AI-generated code, and ensure production-grade quality
- Contribute to architecture discussions, long-term system evolution, and technical direction
- Apply strong system thinking across data models, APIs, distributed systems, and service boundaries
- Produce clear technical documentation, structured prompts, and design proposals to improve collaboration between engineers and AI systems
- Mentor peers and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, UX, and other Engineering teams
Key Requirements
Hard skills:
- Strong foundation in software engineering fundamentals (testing, version control, CI/CD, code review)
- Proven experience in C, C++, or Rust
- Experience building backend systems or distributed systems
- Solid understanding of data modeling, APIs, and service-oriented architectures
- Experience designing scalable and reliable systems
- Practical experience in an AI-assisted development environment (using AI tools for coding, refactoring, testing, documentation)
- Experience with SQL
- Knowledge of networks and underlying hardware infrastructure
Soft skills:
- Curious and adaptable; quick to learn new tools and technologies
- Systems thinker who values simplicity over unnecessary complexity
- Strong ownership mindset and commitment to engineering quality
- Able to combine human judgment with AI capabilities to build better software
On-Call Participation
This role may include participation in our on-call duty system, requiring availability outside regular hours to respond to urgent technical incidents.
- On-call weeks are planned in advance
- Base allowance plus potential overtime compensation
- Required response time: within 30 minutes
- Must be reachable by laptop, phone, or email when on call
