What is it like to be a Senior Software Engineer at Northbridge Financial

The Senior Software Engineer, Full-Stack is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and improving software applications in an IT environment leveraging Full-Stack capabilities. The Sr. Software Engineer, Full-Stack understands, and is responsible for, developing essential skills through leveraging Full-Stack capabilities to develop and implement solutions that empower front- and back-end application capabilities, while ensuring less experienced engineers’ solutions satisfy technical and business specifications.

If you are great at:

  • Interface with systems analysts, solution designers, IT architects, and business stakeholders, to understand the business-software engineering requirements.
  • Drive the design, development, testing, and documentation of software/Full Stack engineering solutions within a complex software engineering environment to align technical and business goals.
  • Collaborate with a team of analysts, engineers, management, and business stakeholders to identify software engineering solutions while assessing technical and business suitability, and its impact to the enterprise’s systems.
  • Drive the daily operations and functionality of software engineering solutions and applications.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend operational procedures and best practices to optimize processes and workflow efficiencies.
  • Coach, mentor, and advise less experienced engineers, ensuring robustness and scalability of solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned

If you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree is preferred) and/or equivalent on the job experience.
  • 8-10 years’ experience with FullStack product lines.
  • 8-10 years’ experience in software engineering or related field.
  • Experience with C#, Kubernetes, Managed SQL, and APIM is required
