Overview:
As a Senior Quality Engineer on our Social Team, you will help build services that empower small businesses to expand their social presence through customized posts, advertising campaigns, and more. In this role, you will work with cutting-edge web applications and microservices in a high-volume SaaS environment. You'll leverage the latest tools and collaborate closely with quality engineers, architects, developers, and the user experience team to ensure a seamless and high-quality user experience.
*This is a hybrid position, 2 days a week, from Toronto, Ontario
What You’ll Do:
- Drive quality within a frontend engineering team responsible for frameworks and high-traffic web applications
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test strategies
- Develop automation and automation strategies to underpin a high-velocity CI/CD pipeline
- Identify, troubleshoot, and debug defects in SaaS software
- Lead team members in testing for high-quality software products.
- Contribute actively to team ceremonies including planning, grooming, and retrospectives
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality processes including required documentation, testing processes, and the overall quality of the Agile team's software
- Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
Who You Are:
- 5+ years in test automation of web applications is required
- Experience creating Playwright integration tests for TypeScript frontends
- Familiar with frontend architecture and an eye for UI/UX quality
- Experience with API testing and building backend test frameworks
- Strong knowledge in Postman or a similar tool preferred
- Proficient in QA processes and tools (e.g., Jira, PractiTest)
- Experience with cloud environments such as AWS
- Experience working with Jenkins and Git in a CI/CD environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivated, creative and detail oriented
- Strong collaboration skills and influential mentality
- Familiarity with testing applications with Social platforms integration is a big plus

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education and work location. In addition, some roles may be eligible for additional on target commission pay or bonus. The compensation package includes health and welfare benefits including paid leave.
