- Generative AI Model Development: Lead the design, training, and optimization of large-scale generative AI models to support innovative use cases across Headspace.
- End-to-End AI Solutioning: Own the lifecycle of generative AI initiatives, from ideation to deployment, ensuring robust and scalable production systems.
- Platform Optimization: Build and enhance the generative AI platform using AWS and modern development tools, with a focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Scalability and Reliability: Ensure the scalability and reliability of generative AI systems by implementing robust CI/CD pipelines, monitoring solutions, and alerting systems.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to integrate generative AI capabilities into Headspace’s products and services.
Knowledge Sharing and Mentorship: Guide and mentor team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

What you’ve accomplished:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Technical Expertise:
- 3+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on AI/ML systems, including developing and deploying generative models.
- Proficiency in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and Python.
- Familiarity with database management and querying, such as SQL, MongoDB, or similar systems.
- Strong experience with AWS and IaC tools such as Terraform.
- Solid understanding of ML infrastructure, including data pipelines, model serving, and scaling solutions.
Individual Impact:
- Demonstrated ability to deliver impactful AI solutions in production environments.
- Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining AI/ML best practices, such as CI/CD pipelines and monitoring.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A collaborative team player with experience mentoring peers and contributing to shared team goals.
Pay & Benefits:
The base salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skills and scope required, relevant licensure and certifications, and unique relevant experience and job-related skills. The base salary range for this role is $116,645-$157,476.
