Senior Software Engineer, Data - AI Engine

Role

Regrello is seeking proactive and industry-experienced US-based Senior Software Engineers (Data) to join our AI-research team. In this role, you will collaborate with our top-tier Machine Learning Researchers and Engineers to source, ingest, clean, and productionize data for Regrello’s AI development efforts. This will involve building and maintaining scalable ETL pipelines that ensure high data quality and allow for fast iteration. If you are passionate about type-safety, scalability, pipeline robustness, and love digging into mountains of data, then this is the position for you! Regrello strongly believes that any AI model is only as good as its data.

By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the advancement of manufacturing practices on a global scale. You will be at the forefront of creating cutting-edge solutions that have a direct impact on how organizations optimize manufacturing and supply chain processes.

This is an individual contributor role, with the potential to take on additional responsibilities in the future.

Company

Regrello is a 60-person startup revolutionizing how the world’s most critical enterprises operate. Born out of the White House COVID Task Force in 2020 and backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Tiger Global, and Ram Sriram (first investor in Google), we're reimagining automation in supply chains—in which companies still communicate about $13T of annual shipments almost entirely via email—as well as in manufacturing and operations. This is a $220-billion market opportunity that’s been largely overlooked for over 20 years. Four years in, we're already powering pivotal enterprise use cases in multiple industries to a degree that is unheard of for companies at our phase, and we're actively growing to new enterprises in the USA, Europe, and Asia. Our team has experience building billion-dollar companies and includes veterans from Oracle, Palantir, Apple, Amazon, and Microsoft.

Product

We’re building the AI-first ERP to replace decades-old giants like SAP and Oracle, transforming how enterprises operate. Our platform can generate any enterprise workflow application in minutes—a dramatic leap from the 1-2 years it traditionally takes IT teams to build them—giving process owners in supply chain, manufacturing, and operations the power to standardize, streamline, and drive their work to completion, no matter the complexity. This breakthrough is powered by our workflow, forms, and AI engines, as well as our in-house Large Tabular Model, a first-of-its-kind innovation. Customers aren’t just adopting our platform—they’re clamoring for more, rapidly expanding their use cases as we enter an exhilarating growth phase. As one user put it: “I’ve been waiting for this for 20 years.”

Culture and Compensation

We are a customer-obsessed, product-driven company that is building a flexible, hybrid/remote culture to enable the brightest minds in the industry. We are particularly interested in candidates based in our hubs of Seattle, San Francisco, and New York, but we will consider candidates who live anywhere in the US. We have industry-leading compensation packages, including equity and health benefits.

About you

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or Software Engineering with a 3.5+ GPA.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in data engineering position building production data pipelines with identifiable business use cases.
  • Strong CS fundamentals with extensive background architecting scalable and robust production-grade pipelines.
  • Expertise with modern data technologies, such as Airflow, Spark (Scala preferred), Trino, Flink, and BigQuery.
  • Proficient with SQL and skilled in Python. Scala expertise is a big plus!
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • A strong desire to learn, grow, and drive impact on real global problems—and to help others around you do the same.
  • Experience with AI libraries, frameworks, and pipelines is preferred but not required.
  • Non-requirement: You don't need any experience with supply chain or manufacturing—we'll teach you that part!

Responsibilities

  • Build production-grade data pipelines for our AI models to solve real-world complex problems in global supply chain and manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Product Management, and industry experts to build high-quality product features that can be used by major companies around the world.
  • Take on new challenges and responsibilities as needed, and be an enthusiastic team player in a dynamic startup environment.
