You’ll be responsible for:

· Developing and maintaining the company’s highly distributed, high-performance systems.

· Building and supporting resilient microservices applications, encompassing the full development lifecycles.

· Contributing to system and application architecture and produce detailed design and maintenance documentations.

· Supporting the operations group in application problem analysis and resolution.

· Participating in rotating on-call support when required.

You bring:

· A University degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· 5+ years software development experience.

· Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity. 

· Experience with REST API development and microservices architecture

· Experience in Java application development using frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate.

· Experience in database design and development using relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle)

· Experience in cloud technologies like AWS or Azure.

· Experience in containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS.

· Experience in application security such as authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices

· Experience in caching solutions like Redis and Hazelcast.

· Experience with event-driven and messaging-based architectures.

· Experience developing high-throughput, low latency systems is highly valued.

· Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular.

· Experience working in agile development environments and contributing to the full software delivery lifecycle.
