Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer with an interest in test automation to join our growing team!

What you’ll do here:

• Analyze requirements, propose solutions, and write specifications.

• Design, develop, test, debug, and deliver robust back-end services/applications using Spring Boot/Spring Framework.

• Develop and maintain responsive web interfaces in Angular.

• Ensure code quality; write unit/integration tests; contribute to regression suites.

• Explain technical choices and collaborate with stakeholders.

• Provide support, maintenance, and bug resolution, mentor the team.

• Contribute to the testing strategy; prepare/execute automated tests.

• Document tools/environments; maintain automation frameworks.

• Participate in code/test reviews; continuously improve QA standards.

What you bring to the table:

• Minimum of 5 years of software development experience; excellent mastery of Java.

• Strong proficiency required in Spring Boot, the Spring application framework, and Angular.

• REST/SOAP, Jenkins, Jira; ReadyAPI (asset).

• Analytical mindset, autonomy, excellent communication, team spirit.

• No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.

• Bilingualism. Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
