Make Your Mark:
As the Senior Social Media Manager, you will lead the planning, creation, and execution of our social media marketing efforts.
You'll develop a breakthrough social strategy leveraging the brand's unique point of view to reach and influence finance and accounting networks on established and emerging platforms. You will direct all organic social media activities, aiming to engage new and existing customers in ways that ultimately drive customer acquisition and retention.
A big part of your role will be manag ing and produc ing a new live event and podcast for the Office of the CF O , ensuring the brand r emains r elevant through influencer engagement s , partner support , and paid collaborations . Additionally, you will drive a participation culture within BlackLine to hel p the b r and maximize its reach, drive buzz , and win customer lov e .
You'll Get To:

  • Own the development of a strategic social media marketing plan and its associated budget across campaigns and channels.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of a new live event, including programming, coordinating logistics , managing promotions, and ensuring seamless integration with lifecycle marketing campaigns .
  • Establish repeatable operational methodologies and mechanisms that enable fast and responsive content development and distribution.
  • Provide company-wide thought leadership on ways to reach and gain the attention of target audiences.
  • Deliver a wide range of content forms, including video, text, imagery, animation, live action , and other content forms that best utili z e the capabilities of the socia l media platform.
  • Analyze program and content results, applying key learnings to optimize future projects .
  • Manage budget, including tech and influencer support and production.


What You'll Bring:
Years of Experience in Related Field: 8 +
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing , Business, Communications, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 8 + y ears working in social media, content, or B2B events
  • Provide examples of leading internal teams or partners to develop breakthrough creative concepts, including video
  • Have a deep passion for modern digital marketing practices , blending creative and analytics to get the right message to customers.
  • Constantly evaluate results to take work to the next level
  • Naturally curious and an expert communicator, both internally and with customers
  • Have deep experience presenting ideas and results to executive leadership
  • Have experience managing a large budget while demonstrating the ability to think lean and scrappy
