BAE Systems is seeking a Scrum Master with 6+years of experience running an Agile development team and performing System Engineering work.
This is a hybrid position that allows for a 50/50% split between in-office and remote work. This means that the candidate must be at the BAE San Diego campus location 50% of the time.
Duties and responsibilities:

  • Create and track Epics, Stories, and Tasks in JIRA
  • Create and track dashboards and status reports in JIRA
  • Facilitate Release and Sprint Planning meetings for the development team
  • Communicate team status, issues, and roadblocks to the Chief Engineer
  • Engage constructively with peers and managers to communicate design approach, trade-offs, and decisions
  • Turn "fuzzy" requirements into detailed Concept-of-Operations (ConOps)
  • Create system-level designs: data models, data flows, component models, logical workflows, interface specifications & flows)

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in an engineering, computer, or technically related field
  • 6+ years combined experience as a Scrum Master and/or Systems Engineer
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles and techniques
  • Highly motivated and able to work well in both team and solo settings
  • Experience with Unified Modeling Language (UML) software design principles and techniques.


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience
  • Background in software development
  • Experience in cloud-based concepts such as AWS or Azurenowledge of DevSecOps processes and tools


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
