About the role:

We are looking for a Senior QA Analyst to join our testing team! You’ll get to work on an amazing team, collaborating closely with Developers, Designers & Product Managers. With a mix of manual and automated testing techniques you’ll use industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies to ensure quality. With an eye and interest in integrating AI, you’ll help us improve and scale our sales financing platform!

What you'll be doing:

  • Upstream testing and analysis to prevent bugs from entering the product.
  • Lead the automation effort by creating and maintaining automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.
  • Report, track, and manage defects, ensuring they are properly documented, prioritized, and resolved.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to ensure alignment on quality goals and requirement analysis.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA analysts, sharing best practices and promoting a culture of quality by being user advocate within the team.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Work independently with minimum help and have excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Execute the process end to end for integration, system, functional and UAT testing.
  • Provide test reports to Product Managers & QA Managers to keep the team updated on progress.
  • Cultivate the culture of ownership, shift left methodologies and radical feedback in scrum ceremonies.

  • Adaptive to changing priorities and project requirements.
  • Understands the importance of the ‘test pyramid’.
  • Is able to effectively communicate flaws in a system, process or situation.
  • Understanding the importance of being a domain knowledge expert and able to break down complex technical bugs.
  • Conduct knowledge sharing sessions to promote skill development and best practices.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of full-time work experience in QA with a primary focus on manual testing within a product pod, requiring deep, in-depth knowledge of the product system.
  • Experience with all phases of the testing lifecycle with a strong focus on requirement analysis, gap analysis, test case creation, execution and automation.
  • Proficiency of testing processes, agile, DevOps methodologies and latest trends and technologies.
  • Collaborate with developer-in-test to design, implement and maintain automation test scripts.
  • Experience with payment scheduling and payment processing systems is preferable
  • Strong proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks: CI servers, RSpec and Ruby (or any other OOP language).
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Proficient in cross browser and mobile testing.
  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
