Amico is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Proposal Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Based out of our Mississauga office, this role is critical in supporting the development of compelling, compliant, and high-quality proposals for construction and development projects across various sectors. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent organizational and communication skills, actively seeks input from company-wide subject matter experts, and is passionate about contributing to winning proposals.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the proposal team and external/internal team members in the development of all technical proposal pursuits.  This includes devloping Expressions of Interest (EOI); Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Qualifications (RFQ); and Requests for Proposal (RFP)
  • Contribute to the development and preparation of proposal content and presentation materials to ensure consistency, compliance, and alignment with technical and marketing requirements
  • Act as a key team member in the development of proposal submissions for civil infrastructure and vertical construction projects, coordinating the efforts of external partners including architects, designers, engineers, consultants, and sub-contractors as required.
  • Collaborate with the proposal team to develop and refine final submission materials including compiling responses to required questions, coordinating with subject matter experts to obtain and distill technical input into tailored content, preparing executive summaries, and curating project sheets and resumes that highlight Amico’s relevant experiences and expertise.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of various databases for company information, project information and pursuit updates.
  • Liaise with upper management weekly regarding proposal team performance.
Qualifications

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Architecture, Commerce, Science, Communications, Marketing or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience in proposal coordination in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Industry.
  • Maintain a high level of precision and quality across all tasks and documentation.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop and/or Illustrator is an asset.
  • Proven experience in succeeding in a team environment
  • Experience working with teams and individuals with varied professional backgrounds
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
     

Salary range between $80,000 to $85,000 per annum
