Job Summary The CDW Senior Project Manager is a trusted consultant, providing project management expertise across multiple technology stacks and services. Projects are typically of medium to high complexity and incorporate mainstream, legacy and emerging technologies. The Senior Project Manager may independently manage projects where they mentor junior team members, or they may work within a large program under the guidance of Program Managers. The successful candidate balances scope, schedules, budget and understands how to leverage PMO tools and templates to drive successful business outcomes for the customer. This position works with mixed teams consisting of CDW engineers, CDW sales, other members of CDW cross functional business areas, customer staff and third party consultants. The CDW Senior Project Manager is a project advocate and relationship builder. They drive successful engagements through concise communication, negotiation, crucial conversations and leadership presence
What you will do:
* Manage medium to large healthcare projects requiring cross-functional collaboration, adhering to CDW's project management processes.
* Plan, execute, and deliver projects across technical practices within deadlines and budget, while aligning business outcomes with solutions.
* Define workstreams, facilitate estimations, and create project plans.
* Establish and maintain all stakeholder communication ensuring quality and exceeding expectations by identifying success criteria and involving stakeholders in key decisions.
* Validate project scope and estimates, articulate the impact of changes, and negotiate project changes regarding cost, scope, and effort with urgency.
* Perform risk mitigation/management to minimize impacts to client due to changes.
* Ensure project profitability by tracking budgets and resources, managing actuals vs. planned hours, and reporting financials to stakeholders.
* As the trusted consultant on project delivery, manage all project communication and documentation while leveraging strong influencing skills
* Deliver all items defined in the CDW Statement of Work and perform quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
* Accurately track and approve time, expenses, and invoices.
* Diffuse uncomfortable situations with clients and project teams, leading teams to meet success factors and exceed expectations.
* Stay updated with the teams delegated tasks for timely and accurate completion.
* Keep up to date with industry best practices and share new information across the Services PMO.
* Continuously evaluate and refine CDW's engagement methodology, templates, tools, and supporting materials.
* Lead and facilitate meetings, keeping them on track and summarizing follow-up items.
* Communicate potential solutions and convey positive outcomes to build client confidence.
* Master tools and methodologies for solution delivery excellence and mentor Program and Project Managers on these skills.
* Utilize Agile Project Management Tools including JIRA and Azure DevOps (ADO).
* Possess certifications such as CSM, PSM, CSP, SPC, PMP, and SAFe
What we expect of you:
* Experience managing cloud migration, integration and cloud native automation projects on Microsoft Azure
* Experience managing projects within healthcare regulated environments, specifically related to HIPAA, PHI, etc.
* Proficiency in contract management and negotiation, serving multiple high-level stakeholders.
* Familiarity with Epic certifications and healthcare informatics.
* Epic certifications are a plus
* Bachelor's degree in business or computer related field, 5 years of CDW Services experience or 6 years' experience in project management, 3 years of experience in leading medium and large-scale projects in a professional services organization,
* OR
* 9 total years of Information Technology experience, to include 5 years of CDW Services experience or 6 years' experience in project management, 3 years of experience in leading medium and large-scale projects in a professional services organization.
* Project management or agile consulting experience as it pertains to advising clients of delivery best practices across multiple technology stacks (e.g., Cloud, Security, Infrastructure)
* Ability to support presales activities and look for new sales opportunities to help the client achieve organizational goals while growing CDW's portfolio of work.
* Participate productively in virtual teams in order to improve Project Management processes.
* Demonstrated ability to take accountability for projects and their results, be fiscally responsible and lead teams to meet project success factors.
* Experience in Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
* Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills, including demonstrated experience presenting technology recommendations from a business perspective.
* Credibly communicates complex topics to stakeholders. Anticipates client or project needs and communicate potential solutions.
* Applies discretion when dealing with sensitive/confidential information.
* This position may require the ability to travel an average of 25%.
* PMP and/or Agile Certification(s), a plus.
* Pay range
* : $104,000 - $129,600, depending on experience and skill set Annual bonus target of 10% subject to terms and conditions of plan Benefits overview: https://cdw.benefit-info.com/ Salary ranges may be subject to geographic differentials
