As a Sr. PM at Red Nucleus, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact digital projects from concept to completion. They oversee and manage multiple complex projects, ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, and drive results that align with client objectives. Their leadership will guide internal teams, mentor junior and intermediate team members, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients. They are responsible for setting project goals, defining deliverables, managing resources, and ensuring that the overall project strategy is aligned with the client’s business needs. This role requires advanced knowledge of digital technologies, project management methodologies, and exceptional leadership skills to oversee multiple high-stakes digital initiatives.
- Lead end-to-end management of complex digital projects (websites, applications, immersive experiences, digital campaigns) for healthcare and pharmaceutical clients
- Partner with client services, creative, medical, and technical teams to scope, plan, and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations; proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Serve as the main day-to-day contact for clients on project delivery, ensuring clear communication and strong relationship management.
- Translate client needs and medical content into actionable digital requirements and project briefs.
- Manage external vendors and development partners, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and medical/regulatory standards (including regulatory review processes).
- Drive collaboration across cross-functional teams, promoting problem-solving, innovation, and best practices in digital project delivery.
- Track project progress and provide regular status updates, financial tracking, and resourcing needs to internal stakeholders and leadership.
- Ensure all deliverables meet industry standards for usability, accessibility, and compliance with pharma/healthcare guidelines.
- Mentor junior project managers, providing guidance on digital best practices and project management processes.
About You
- 5+ years of experience in digital project management, with a proven record of successfully delivering large-scale, high-impact digital projects (agency experience is a plus).
- Extensive experience in managing complex, multi-disciplinary teams, including developers, designers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong background in client-facing roles, with the ability to manage client expectations, deliver results, and foster long-term relationships.
- Proficiency with modern project management and SDLC tools (e.g., Jira, Linear, Azure DevOps), including backlog management, sprint planning, and issue prioritization
- Experience with sprint planning and backlog management
- Strong understanding of deployment planning and release management, including CI/CD processes and coordinating stakeholder approvals
- Understanding of digital system architecture including CMS platforms, frontend/backend relationships, and API integrations
- Working knowledge of industry standards including accessibility (WCAG), SEO, and pharma/healthcare compliance guidelines
- Experience managing UAT and QA processes
- Experience with digital analytics tools and reporting to track and communicate project success.
- Advanced organizational, leadership, and time management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience managing client relationships and leading cross-functional teams.
- Skills in estimating and pricing digital projects
- Ability to balance standard product features vs. custom development
- Understanding of different runtime environments (web browsers, native apps, Unity, Electron) and their implications for project planning.
- Basic knowledge of hardware and performance considerations for digital experiences, particularly for events and installations
- Ability to mentor, guide, and develop junior and intermediate project managers, fostering growth within the team.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Working towards/completion of PMP considered an asset
- Experience with Figma for design collaboration considered an asset
