Job Description

The Sr. Project Coordinator serves not only as the PMO focal point for processing, tracking, and distributing project deliverables, but additionally works in close proximity with the Project Manager and the project site team. The position also acts as the Procore “expert” for the team at large and should be comfortable guiding and assisting other team members with the Procore platform when necessary. May be assigned responsibility for limited scope PM tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Continuous Improvement Support – Engage in CI-related projects as assigned by the PMO team.

  • Procore Specialist – Provide project team with advanced Procore knowledge and expertise and assist in helping other team members and sub-contractors with use therein when necessary.

  • Document Control - Works with Project Team to identify and produce project specific technical and commercial documentation and templates as outlined in the project plans. Responsible for monitoring all parties for compliance to project documentation processing including filing, tracking, and distributing.

  • Produces and updates weekly and monthly project reports, both internal and external. 

  • Action Items - Maintains project action item and open item lists. Tracks open items for completion.

  • Team Meetings - Coordinates weekly project team meeting, keeping, and distributing minutes.

  • Logs - Responsible for maintaining all project log files to ensure accuracy of the document status. Typical project logs files are Submittals, RFIs, Change Orders, Site directives, Risk and Opportunity registers, Document Lists and Logs.

  • Coordinates with all departments to assist the Project Manager with project execution.

  • Coordinates with the project team members to ensure that the contents of submittals meet contractual requirements.

  • Secondary point of contact for all departments in the absence of the Project Manager.

  • Direct line of communication between all departments supporting project execution.

  • Other support as required including, but not limited to:

  • Site Badging Administration and Returns

  • Continuous Improvement project support

  • Payment Application status verification

  • Site logistical support

  • Purchase Order Request support

  • Other forms and processes

  • Implementation and training of new processes and best practices for operations department.

  • Supervision of project administrators as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university or institution

  • 3+ years of related project coordination or construction experience

  • Procore certification a plus

  • Smartsheet certification a plus

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Basic understanding of project procurement, scheduling, and documentation requirements.

  • Proficient in MS Office.

  • Ability to work well with diverse team of internal disciplines.

  • Outstanding attention to detail

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to the company’s culture and Way of Working

Salary range:

This is a full-time position, eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. The salary range listed represents the maximum and minimum starting base pay for this position as of the time of posting. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. Salary range for this position is CAD$103,000 to CAD$138,000.
