Summary of This Role

Lead large, complex programs across merchant portfolio acquisitions, company acquisitions, post–M&A integrations, platform integrations, transformation initiatives, and organizational change. Define the problem, scope, and delivery approach across full programs or assigned workstreams. Develop solution specifications and document current- state and future-state operating and platform models. Build and manage program plans (resources, budget, timeline, milestones), establish governance and decision-making structures, and drive execution through implementation, production/BAU handoff, and outcome evaluation. Partner across a matrixed organization to structure work, monitor progress, and provide direction to project teams. Manage data conversions and multi- system integrations into Global Payments products, including supporting development of new products where required. Define and document new end-to-end processes across functions to enable successful migration or transformation. Maintain accountability to executive sponsors for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and stakeholder relationships (internal and external).

What Part Will You Play?

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex conversion and integration implementations that establish clients and products on Global Payments platforms, including large-scale programs (often 16,000+ project hours) with major conversions (e.g., 300K+ accounts on file and 10+ products), new product launches, and portfolio takeovers, transformation initiatives and organizational change.
  • Own and govern program scope, schedule, cost, and quality, building and maintaining the integrated plan across multiple workstreams to ensure business outcomes.
  • Apply deep analysis and data interpretation to drive decisions and recommendations, while engaging stakeholders at all levels, including executive steering committees and Global Payments executive leadership.
  • Lead and influence large, cross-functional teams in a matrix environment, aligning peers and partners across multiple departments/divisions to deliver complex, multi-stream implementations.
  • Partner with stakeholders and SMEs to document current-state (as-is) operational and technology/platform models, and define and implement target-state models that enable the conversion, integration, and ongoing operations.
  • Lead scope and requirements definition, documentation, and approvals; build, approve, and continuously manage project plans, resources, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Direct change control across key program assets (scope, requirements, plans, specifications, contracts, code, documentation), ensuring governance, traceability, and disciplined decision-making.
  • Drive issue, risk, and decision management, using metrics to monitor progress, anticipate problems, and lead the identification, logging, escalation, and resolution of critical items.
  • Own internal and external program communications and executive reporting, including risk assessments and formal program updates; facilitate issue/conflict resolution, escalate when required, and balance scope, time, cost, and quality to manage to an acceptable level of risk.
  • Oversee deliverable quality, and timeliness and manage the full project budget across FTE, travel, revenue, and expenses.
  • Ensure consistent use of project management tools and methodologies; take a lead role in identifying, defining, measuring, and continuously improving delivery practices and processes.
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and decision-rights to enable effective governance and decision-making at the lowest appropriate level.
  • Lead executive-level communications through clear written reporting and verbal presentations to large groups, senior leaders, and internal / external stakeholders.
