Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Co-own and execute the product roadmap with the Product Director, driving alignment with organizational goals.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to shape the product vision, strategy, and feature prioritization.
  • Translate high-level product roadmap epics into detailed product requirements, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs.
  • Lead scrum refinement meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives, fostering collaboration and innovation within the team.
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and prioritize them based on impact and urgency.
  • Document new features comprehensively to educate and align internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with the production team to streamline implementation processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Monitor post-launch product performance and identify opportunities for future enhancements and investment.
  • Maintain a robust repository of product documentation in Confluence, ensuring accessibility and accuracy.
  • Champion a customer-centric approach throughout the product development lifecycle, driving a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Responsible for planning releases, co-ordinating sprints and ensuring products align with the company’s vision.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in a product owner or related leadership role.
  • Deep understanding and mastery of agile or lean software development methodologies.
  • Hands on experience in managing all stages of the product life cycle.
  • Extensive experience in launching software products in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively present to large groups of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in prototyping and iterative development.
  • Expertise in development tracking software tools like Jira.
  • Strong ability to decompose epics into user stories with acceptance criteria and mock-ups.
  • Demonstrated leadership in working with cross-functional team members including designers, engineers, and Scrum Masters in an Agile Scrum environment.
  • Proven track record of running refinement ceremonies and driving stories to meet the definition of ready.
  • Experience in creating product road map and communicating the changes to all the stakeholders.
  • Experience in release demo and effectively capturing stakeholder feedback and leveraging the feedback in future iterations.
  • Experience creating and maintaining comprehensive product documentation in Confluence.
  • Advanced prioritization skills to effectively meet squad objectives and sprint goals.

Preferred Skill:

  • Extensive hands-on experience in Agile Scrum methodologies and ceremonies.
  • Track record of successfully executing product roadmaps and delivering high-impact products.
  • Certification such as certified scrum product owner (CSPO) ,SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager can be beneficial
