Position Summary:

As a key member of the Kindsight Product Management team, this position is responsible for the design, development and delivery of high-quality product features to improve our SaaS offering in the market and drive our organization to the goal of being the leader in fundraising intelligence.  You'll play a crucial role in refining the strategy for a solution that's already winning over some of the world's top institutions. With your expertise, we'll exceed our growth targets and continue to deliver a product our customers love.

This is a highly collaborative role, and we need someone who wants to get things done and make things happen. In our lean team, everyone is expected to dive into the details to solve customer problems. Strong relationships with all stakeholders are essential, as are clear updates on priorities and progress. While our CEO and Product team will help set the product vision, it's up to you to ensure everything stays on track and gets executed effectively.

If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and make a significant impact, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the end-to-end product development process, from concept to launch, for your specific product, feature or workflow, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Define requirements, create user stories, and collaborate with engineering teams to execute product development initiatives.
  • Communicate product strategies, roadmap priorities, and progress effectively to ensure alignment and support across the organization for your product area.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software development, marketing, and sales to prioritize features and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a high-level roadmap prioritizing features and initiatives based on business objectives, customer feedback, and market analysis. Continuously evaluate and refine the roadmap to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and market trends.
  • Customer Authority: Lead in understanding customer needs and gathering feedback to inform product decisions.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to identify market opportunities, trends, and challenges. Use insights to inform product decisions, prioritize initiatives, and drive product innovation.
  • Define product positioning and messaging to differentiate it in the market and work with marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and promotional plans.
  • Metrics and Analytics: Define and track key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure product success and inform decision-making. Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement, optimize product performance, and drive business growth.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 3-6 years of experience in product management in a SaaS company.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Deep understanding of product management best practices, methodologies, and tools.

Nice to have

  • Experience developing a Gift Processing Strategy
  • Experience in Non Profit, Healthcare, or Higher Education

Compensation Range: $120,000 - $160,000 CAD OTE annually, based on experience, market benchmarks and role complexity. We aim to offer fair, competitive pay that reflects your skills and the market.
