Senior Product Manager

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead strategy and execution for Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) across our digital platforms. This role will define the roadmap, prioritize initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable improvements in organic visibility, engagement, and conversion.

About the Role:

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap
    • Define and own the product vision for SEO, AEO, and GEO initiatives.
    • Develop a roadmap aligned with business goals and emerging search trends (voice, AI-driven search, generative experiences).
  • Execution & Delivery
    • Partner with engineering, content, and UX teams to implement technical SEO enhancements, structured data, and schema markup.
    • Drive AEO initiatives for featured snippets, ensuring conversational content and structured answers.
    • Lead GEO optimization for AI-powered search engines (Google SGE, Bing Copilot, ChatGPT), adapting content and architecture for semantic relevance.
  • Performance & Analytics
    • Define KPIs (organic traffic, CTR, conversion, engagement) and monitor performance using analytics and SEO tools.
    • Conduct competitive analysis and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
    • Collaborate with marketing, product, and AI teams to integrate SEO strategies into broader digital experiences.
    • Advocate for best practices and educate stakeholders on evolving search technologies.

About you:

  • 5+ years in product management with strong SEO expertise; experience in AEO and emerging AI-driven search trends preferred.
  • Proven ability to define product strategy and deliver measurable results.
  • Familiarity with technical SEO, schema markup, and semantic search.
  • Experience with SEO tools (Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and analytics platforms.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, and their impact on search.
  • Experience with eCommerce SEO and personalization platforms like Coveo.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For Ontario, Canada, the base compensation range for this role is $126,000 CAD - $176,000 CAD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
