About The Role


The candidate will work within our LogicStream product development team as a Senior Product Manager, alongside Machine Learning and Software developers, product managers, and domain experts. LogicStream is a toolkit that allows our delivery team to efficiently deliver advanced generative AI solutions to our customers, solving their most complex problems. This role will focus on pushing the boundaries of generative AI and developing a successful platform product through rapid experimentation, customer deployment and productization of our features.


Please Note: This opportunity is available for those located within the province of Ontario and will require a certain level of face-to-face, in-person interaction based out of either our Toronto/Waterloo offices.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee the development and lifecycle of our generative AI development toolkit, including building and maintaining the product backlog, leading sprint planning, and capturing epics and user stories.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to formulate a product vision, translate it into a product roadmap, and deliver product releases.
  • Conduct and crystalize user research to inform feature development and roadmap, and research product trends to stay up-to-date with AI advancements.
  • Align with our vision to develop our AI developer toolkit strategy, ensuring it meets the needs of our consulting services and supports scalability, faster delivery, and improved margins.
  • Understand client and business needs by engaging with clients to uncover technical constraints, workflows, and requirements, translating these insights into requirements that enhance our toolkit’s value.
  • Define innovative toolkit capabilities by leveraging your understanding of cloud-native technologies and AI/ML to propose new features and capabilities.
  • Shape developer-friendly interfaces by collaborating with stakeholders to design APIs and tools that enable efficient use of the toolkit’s infrastructure.
  • Drive delivery by working with the development team to set objectives and milestones to ensure the timely delivery of new components and infrastructure improvements.
  • Continuously examine and improve our processes to facilitate ongoing enhancements.

What You Bring:

  • 5 Years experience working as a Product Manager of multiple B2B software products, including platforms and/or SDKs
  • Experience as a tactical Product Manager - working with Agile methodologies and capturing epics and user stories, defining milestones and goals, working day-to-day with development teams delivering high-impact products
  • Proven experience taking a product to market
  • Strong knowledge of AI/ML and/or data science
  • Clear, and concise communication, both internally and externally
  • Professional interaction with customers and executives

Nice To Have's:

  • Experience in a startup, whether successful or not 
  • Experience with 0-1 product management
  • Experience with the full life cycle of a product, from conception to revenue
  • Experience with machine learning
  • Knowledge of additional functional areas such as Engineering, Sales, UX/UI, Customer Support, Marketing, or Finance
  • Certification or training in Product Management through organizations such as Pragmatic Marketing or Scaled Agile
  • Entrepreneurship training, for example going through Tech Stars, Y Combinator, and so on

Reports To:

  • Product Innovation Lead

Responsible AI (RAI)

AltaML employees, contractors, and associates must be trained and well-versed in the importance of Responsible AI and empowered to enact RAI principles by developing and deploying AI solutions. They should also be empowered to raise and escalate RAI concerns as required.
