As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for the long-term strategic direction of the Vocera product portfolio.  In this role, you will partner with the Medical Leadership team to create growth strategies for our sales team and identify new opportunities for portfolio growth. Healthcare is experiencing transformation with digital products being a key enablerThe Senior Product Manager will be accountable to market development strategies that help establish the Vocera solution as the standard of care in the Canadian marketIn this fast-paced environment, experience with new product launch, and key partnerships will be integral to drive growth.      

 

What you will do 

  • Author and leverage marketing team to create key strategy documents: strategic plan, annual marketing plan, product launch plans, etc 
  • Surface new or unexpressed customer needs, leading to product/program improvements 
  • Adhere to organizational protocols, practices and procedures for gathering competitive information. 
  • Drive segmentation and targeting methods to improve commercial efficiency. 
  • Develop pricing approach consistent with the marketing strategy and brand positioning. 
  • Accurately forecast resource needs and establish metrics and goals/success criteria and milestones. 
  • Demonstrate financial acumen. 
  • Hold self and others accountable to deliver high quality results with passion, energy, and drive to meet business priorities. 
  • Collaborate and influence others on cross-functional teams, advancing partnerships to achieve business objectives. 
  • Develop key relationships with industry/market thought leaders, organizations, and institutions, in collaboration with other marketing leaders. 

 

What you need 

 

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 6+ years of work experience 
  • Experience managing multiple technical projects while delivering on established timelines in a highly matrixed organization.

 

Preferred: 

  • Master’s degree 
  • 3+ years medical device or marketing/sales experience 

Travel Percentage: 30%
