We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Product Manager to lead the development and delivery of innovative data products that drive business growth and decision-making. As a key member of our data organization, you will be responsible for shaping our data as a service offering, building robust data visualization capabilities, and overseeing the implementation of effective data management tools.

Data as a Service (DaaS):

  • Own and drive the roadmap for the company’s Data-as-a-Service offerings, enabling internal and external customers to access and utilize data efficiently.
  • Work closely with engineering, data scientists, and business stakeholders to identify customer needs and build scalable data services that provide high-value insights.
  • Develop and manage APIs, data pipelines, and integration strategies to deliver seamless access to data products.

Data Management Tools

  • Oversee the implementation and configuration of data management tools.
  • Ensure that data management tools and practices comply with security and privacy regulations.
  • Integrate data management tools with data governance frameworks to maintain data quality and consistency.

Data Visualization Offering

  • Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of data visualization tools, ensuring they meet the needs of both technical and business users.
  • Work with data analysts and stakeholders to create compelling data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that communicate insights effectively.
  • Prioritize user experience by designing intuitive interfaces and providing clear guidance on data interpretation.
  • Empower users to explore data independently through self-service analytics tools and capabilities.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with engineering, data science, marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure alignment on product requirements and delivery timelines.
  • Provide clear product requirements, user stories, and technical documentation to development teams.

Metrics & Reporting:

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of data products.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on product progress, challenges, and successes.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on data products.
  • Deep understanding of the data life-cycle
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise business terms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for data and a desire to drive innovation
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with data governance and compliance frameworks.
