We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Product Manager to join our dynamic Consumer Products portfolio. This role will be instrumental in shaping and executing the product strategy for Workforce Solutions and other key Consumer Products within Equifax Canada. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of consumer needs, market trends, and data-driven product development.
 

What You Will Do

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for the Consumer Products portfolio, including Workforce Solutions, aligning with Equifax Canada's overall business objectives.

  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify new opportunities and inform product development.

  • Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation and definition through development, launch, and post-launch performance monitoring.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering, sales, marketing, legal, and other stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery and market adoption.

  • Requirements Definition: Translate business requirements and customer needs into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Partner with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and promotional activities.

  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous optimization.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

  • Team Leadership: Potentially mentor and guide junior product team members.

What Experience You Need

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of product management experience, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing consumer-facing products. Experience with Workforce Solutions or similar data-driven products is highly desirable.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA is a plus.

  • Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to think strategically, identify market opportunities, and translate them into actionable product plans.

  • Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of data, analytics, and cloud technologies. Ability to engage in technical discussions with engineering teams.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.

  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive results.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer needs and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
