At Poka, we’re transforming how frontline teams operate, learn, and solve problems.

Our connected worker platform is purpose-built for manufacturing, empowering frontline workers to share knowledge, collaborate in real-time, and drive continuous improvement. Think of it as the missing digital link, bringing the human interface into the stack of the Smart Factory, generating the right data and insights that drive entirely new scales of process improvements.

We’re proud to support global leaders like Nestlé, Bosch, Mars, and Danone in their digital transformation journeys and as part of the IFS family, our reach and impact continue to grow globally.

As a Senior Product Designer at Poka, you’ll join a cross-functional squad where design is a lever for impact. Together with product managers and engineers, you’ll shape solutions that make factory work simpler, safer, and more efficient. You’ll play a key role in framing problems, exploring concepts, and delivering experiences that empower workers—while helping your squad move faster and smarter.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Solve complex design problems from start to finish, always keeping factory workers at the center of your solutions;
  • Actively participate in defining the problem with product managers, tech leads and the design team, ensuring alignment on goals and constraints;
  • Translate user data and requirements into interactive mock-ups and prototypes to quickly assess the viability of ideas;
  • Conduct user tests, heuristic audits and customer validations to evaluate concepts and functionalities;
  • Design detailed flows, high-fidelity mock-ups, interactions and specifications required to make the solution a reality;
  • Partner with product managers and engineers to frame problems, validate opportunities, and bring solutions to life—from early discovery to shipped features;
  • Use design as a lever to accelerate collaboration and impact within squads;
  • Communicate progress, design decisions, and challenges openly to teammates and stakeholders;
  • Collaborate with designers across all teams to continuously improve Poka’s design processes, principles and tools.

Your experience must include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design (Graphic, Industrial, Multimedia, Interaction) or related field;
  • 8+ years of experience as a UX/UI designer;
  • Experience in digital product and system design;
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
  • In-depth knowledge of Figma;
  • A Portfolio demonstrating concrete examples of digital product design;
  • Excellent English and French, spoken and written.

What will set you apart:

  • Willingness to work on complex design and system problems;
  • AI-first mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and innovation;
  • Motivation to design solutions that have a positive impact on factory workers, making their work simpler, safer and more efficient;
  • A colleague-centric and collaborative spirit, focused on enabling your PM and engineering partners to succeed.

What we offer:

  • Dynamic and collaborative work environment.
  • A generous vacation policy starting on your first day.
  • Hybrid work policy - Work from the office one day a week if you live within a 40km radius to our Quebec City office or a 15 km radius to our Montreal office.
  • 100% remote work if you do not live within the radiuses mentioned above.
  • A truly flexible schedule that allows you to adapt your work hours.
  • Group insurance from day one (dental, medication, disability, travel, etc.) with employer contributions, including access to telemedicine and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
  • A retirement savings plan with employer contributions.
  • A MacBook Pro and a $500 home office allowance upon hiring.
  • Tasty snacks available at all times in our offices (fresh fruits, snacks, pastries, coffee, tea, etc.)
  • Generous referral bonus.
  • The tools, support, and opportunities you need to keep learning and progressing in your career.
