Intro to The Team

We're looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to join the Consumer Experience team with AutoSync. The Consumer Experience team is on a mission to build product experiences that enable efficiencies in the consumer car buying experience. You will be directly involved in and responsible for crafting experiences that bring together the many aspects of the car transaction journey, including pricing, trade-in valuations, accessories, protection plans, deposits, credit application, document uploads, and delivery. You will be directly involved in designing for and managing our design system.

The Consumer Experience team works hand-in-hand with our Retail Operations team. Together, our vision is to create an omni-channel platform for consumers and dealers to manage transactions end-to-end, in one place. We measure success in terms of transaction close rates, transaction closing velocity, and transaction value.

What You'll Do

- Own end-to-end product design for a key area of the AutoSync consumer journey that bridges the digital and physical car shopping experience

- Design user-centered experiences across our omni-channel customer touchpoints, with the purpose of increasing consumer conversion (i.e. number of transactions closed)

- Collaborate cross-functionally with your delivery team (Product, Engineering, Delivery) to take new features from ideation, to prototyping, to user testing, to launch

- Explore divergent concepts to solve dealer pain points while understanding how to scope the solution to build iteratively towards your vision

- Evangelize best design practices and the dealer’s perspective by leveraging qualitative and quantitative data

- Participate in or lead feedback and ideation sessions where you’ll seek out specific feedback on your designs, design frameworks, our products, and the company in general

What We're Looking For

- 5+ years of end-to-end design experience, from research and problem discovery through to detailed interaction, visual design, and delivery

- Prior experience leading design for complex use cases in cross-functional teams (Bonus: Experience working in automotive and/or SaaS enterprise software products)

- A portfolio that demonstrates strong visual and interaction design sense, with a focus on delivering consumer and business outcomes

- Ability to communicate a strong point of view, backed up by personal expertise, design rationale, customer data, and industry trends

- Self-starter attitude, comfortable maintaining multiple tasks and shifting business needs
