This is a onsite role #LI-Onsite

Secondment/Contract: Duration up to 12 months

Are you looking for a role where you can apply your expertise in supply chain data analytics, operational reporting and business process improvement? Reporting to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain Strategy & Continuous Improvement, you will play an important role on the Supply Chain Strategy and Continuous Improvement team, focusing on providing technical, analytical and reporting support to supply chain operations. You will also participate in supporting continuous improvement programs to improve processes, reduce costs, and improve customer service. 

If you have demonstrated experience in supply chain data analytics using database management systems, a solid background in supply chain operations and love a different challenge every day, then this is the role for you! 

About the Role

•    Conduct data analysis, provide insights to decision makers and implement business solutions to improve product flow and operational efficiency across the LCBO supply chain 
•    Analyze operational processes and make recommendations to improve performance and reduce cost 
•    Monitor, analyze, and report on supply chain productivity and financial results 
•    Analyze, interpret, and communicate operational and process analysis information through periodic reporting, ad hoc studies, and presentations 
•    Contribute analysis and decision support by process mapping, simulation, benchmarking, score carding, and financial modelling 
•    Develop and maintain databases, complex data models, ETL processes and supply chain dashboards using SQL Server, MS Access, Excel and Power BI  

 

About You

•    Post-secondary education/ work experience in Supply Chain Management is preferred 
•    Data Analytics and Business Studies together with related experience  
•    Good communications skills – both verbal and written 
•    Demonstrated 2+ years of experience in retail supply chain operations, analytics, forecasting and modelling 
•    Knowledge of complex value analysis methodologies, financial concepts related to ABC costing analysis, and operational efficiency measurement techniques 
•    Demonstrated 3+ years of experience in data analytics, data modelling, preparation and visualization for analytics using SQL, SQL Server, Excel, Power BI, MS Access and SSIS 
•    Expert experience using MS Office particularly Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, and Microsoft Power Platform (nice to have) 
•    Demonstrated medium/large project management experience 
•    Exemplified agile, multi-tasking, collaborative and cross-functional skillset
