What you’ll do
As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pricing reports. Your responsibilities will include investigating discrepancies, verifying data accuracy, and automating processes to enhance our pricing operations. You will work both independently and collaboratively with other members of the team, leveraging multiple tools to create efficient workflows and comprehensive reporting systems from various databases and data sources. An understanding of how prices are determined and displayed in our systems, along with a drive to understand the data, is essential.
• Automate existing pricing reports and various other processes to enhance efficiency.
• Lead the creation and maintenance of Price Assurance Deals (PAD) and other governance processes and reports.
• Act as the subject matter expert for all pricing-related data investigations.
• Independently resolve pricing issues by analyzing reports and investigating within multiple systems and databases.
• Ensure accurate data integration across various databases and sources.
• Develop efficient workflows to streamline report generation.
• Understand how prices are derived from components such as cost, cost to stores, price to customers, and margin.
• Collaborate closely with another Senior Pricing Analyst and cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
• Communicate findings and strategies effectively to executive stakeholders.
What you bring:
• Proven experience in pricing analysis or a related role in merchandising, pricing, or finance.
• Strong business acumen with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Intermediate proficiency in SQL.
• Advanced Excel skills, including functions like XLOOKUP.
• Experience working with cloud-based platforms.
• Basic knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to understand IT systems to deliver effective business processes.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative in solving complex problems.
• Competence in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines effectively.
Nice to Have:
• Knowledge of basic Python programming.
• Experience with automation tools such as Alteryx and Power Automate.
• Proficiency in visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau.
• Familiarity with ThoughtSpot and KNIME is considered an asset.
