About the job

This is a high-impact role, critical to driving Twilio's pricing strategy and operationalizing key pricing processes. Your work will directly contribute to accelerating Twilio's business growth while simplifying the purchasing experience for our customers.

This is an exciting time to join Twilio’s pricing team as we optimize pricing models that support our expanding product portfolio. As a Pricing Realization Strategy Manager, you will leverage your expertise in pricing and packaging to drive the success of Twilio's platform-wide monetization strategy. Reporting to the Director of Monetization & Pricing Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping pricing and packaging strategies for the product portfolio, including for Twilio’s largest and most strategic line of business.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Shape Strategy: Design price optimization strategies that accelerate  business performance, incorporating considerations like price elasticity, product strategy, competitive differentiation, and financial analysis.
  • Process Design: Responsible for designing and optimizing pricing processes to drive strategic pricing decisions, enhance efficiency, and improve profitability.
  • Partner with Product:  Work closely with Product teams to understand the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring effective and efficient deployment of products across the organization.
  • Analyze Data: Dive into sales, customer, product, competitive, and financial data to uncover opportunities, test hypotheses, and scale successful strategies.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Foster alignment and champion the implementation of strategies across GTM Strategy, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams.

Required:

  • Pricing Expertise: 8+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in roles with significant responsibility for pricing in telecom, SaaS, or adjacent industries.
  • Project Management: Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional projects that generate measurable business impact.
  • Financial Modeling: Hands-on experience developing pricing models and evaluating monetization frameworks to support strategic decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to influence peers and senior leadership effectively.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.

Desired:

  • SaaS/Industry Expertise: Experienced in a B2B environment with a strong understanding of consumption & subscription-based business models.
  • Global Considerations: Familiarity with regional pricing challenges, including regulatory constraints and market-specific strategies.
  • Application Expertise: Proficient in using tools like JIRA, Airtable, and Tableau to create and analyze data, streamline workflows, enhance data visualization, and optimize process.
  • Education: preference for candidates with an MBA.

Location

This role will be remote, and based in Ontario, British Columbia or Alberta, Canada.

Travel

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

Based in British Columbia: CAD 107,300.00 - CAD 134,100.00

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
