Senior Platform Product Manager

The Product Team at Priceline is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate Senior Technical Product Manager to help build the global platform that powers our core travel experiences. This platform allows Priceline to connect its customers to some of the best travel deals in the world. Streamlining the platform so that customers can get the exact products they need as fast as possible at the absolute lowest prices is at the core of everything we do.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead one or more cross functional teams to develop enhancements and new features in Priceline’s platform.

  • Drive product development initiatives utilizing customer and competitive research, business case development, prioritization, and all phases of the software development lifecycle

  • Define high level objectives and key results and translate those into stories, establish milestones, and manage the execution of projects across multiple teams

  • Define success metrics for new projects and track daily performance for existing products to ensure the team is moving towards defined goals.

  • Work with technical leadership to define the long term architecture for the platform and break that down into short term, prioritized deliverables for the team to execute on.

  • Partner with teams across the organization to help them design solutions that integrate with the platform and generate value for their customers

  • Utilize data from multiple large, complex data sets to research, troubleshoot, diagnose, and recommend solutions to complex business and technical problems.

  • Integrate generative AI into you and your team’s work processes along with your product solutions to generate incremental value for your customers.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of product management experience

  • Previous experience in either a technical product management or an engineering role

  • Experience with using generative AI to build and optimize products along with team processes.

  • Strong data skills including proficiency with multiple analytics tool sets including Splunk, Tableau, BigQuery, SQL, and database design

  • Experience translating business and partner requirements architectural designs and technical requirements for engineers

  • Experience with Agile project management techniques including Scrum and Kanban as well as Agile tools like Jira and Confluence or equivalent toolsets

  • Experience with RESTful API development either as a product manager or engineer

  • Experience setting strategic objectives on a quarterly and yearly cadence using an outcome based objective format such as OKRs

  • Experience creating presentation materials and presenting to a diverse array of stakeholders including engineers, business analysts, and upper management

  • A self-starter who is confident and able to move projects forward with little direction

  • Experience working in travel is useful. Passion for travel required!

  • BS/BA required.

Flexible work at Priceline

Priceline is following a hybrid working model, which includes two days onsite as determined by you and your manager (ideally selecting among Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday). On the remaining days, you can choose to be remote or in the office.
