We are currently looking for a Senior Planner, Accessories Development to join our team in Mississauga, ON.

A Day in the Life:     

Join a dynamic team at the forefront of automotive innovation, where you’ll identify and develop accessory opportunities for current and future vehicle programs. In this role, you will lead cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and global partners to bring high-quality, market-driven products to life, on time and on target. You’ll play a key role in driving launch readiness, optimizing pricing and profitability, and enhancing customer experience through strategic process improvements. From managing supplier relationships and VPC operations to supporting sales performance and data integrity, this position offers a unique opportunity to shape impactful accessory programs for both NISSAN and INFINITI brands.

  • Identify opportunities for accessories for current and future model vehicles and use project management techniques to develop and bring those accessories to market.
  • Manage the Nissan and INFINITI accessories portfolio and pricing strategy to drive profitability while providing accurate forecasting, aligning with the aftersales business plan objectives and market competitiveness.
  • Influence cross-functional change by collaborating with suppliers and multiple internal stakeholders to define specifications, timing, and quantities, ensuring product availability at vehicle or program launch.
  • Coordinate and implement VPC operations with Annacis port, NMEX and NNA.
  • Manage KPIs and sales programs, identify opportunities, propose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
  • Manage accessories data in support of our internal Accessories Catalogue, Nissan.ca and parts.nissan.ca.
  • Monitor production schedules, vendor lead times, finished goods inventory, back-order status and delivery requirements.
  • Manage accessories vehicle lifecycle and solve for excess/obsolete inventory.
  • Liaise with the TCS (Total Customer Satisfaction), factory, port and suppliers to ensure NCI’s quality standards are met and necessary QA approvals received, including materials, part design, testing, packaging and deliveries.
  • Support Manager, Accessories Development and work with other department members to ensure appropriate action is taken to achieve sales targets.

Who We’re Looking for:  

Required: 

  • University degree or college diploma is required.
  • A degree or diploma in Automotive, Applied Sciences, Engineering, Sales & Marketing and/or Business Management an asset.
  • Minimum five years related experience at a professional level, preferably automotive parts or accessories, product planning and/or field experience in the automotive business.
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication skills (oral, written, listening, presentation), customer experience, project management, leadership, problem solving, decision-making, negotiation, building relationships with internal/external stakeholders and collaboration.
  • Proven attention to detail, accuracy, organizational skills, analytical skills, and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of Nissan product/model line-up and competitive offerings.
  • Knowledge of pivot tables for data analysis, modeling, and reporting.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI.

Desired: 

  • Familiarity with database management is preferred.
  • Bilingual French and English are preferred.

Salary Range:

$91,573.00 - $119,436.00

This compensation range represents the minimum to midpoint base salary rates at Nissan for jobs assigned to this particular grade level. Please note that an employee’s base salary may occasionally be set above the midpoint of the salary band for this grade level, in recognition of the employee’s unique skills, work experience, education, work location, or market conditions. Compensation decisions also consider internal equity and comparisons with the base salary rates of other employees with similar backgrounds working in comparable roles. Note: Bonus, benefits, and other forms of variable compensation are not included in the base-salary range shown above.
