How to contribute to our vision

You will be a central interface for the Business Unit and Function Controlling teams, working closely with the Cost Center and Operational Controlling teams as well as key Siemens Energy Finance functions.

You will provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, monthly, quarterly & annual forecasts, financial reports, and operational trends to assist the Business Controlling team in performing their responsibilities and drive recommendations for sound decision making.

Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:

  • Coordination of the global financial planning, reporting, and controlling (including the preparation, monitoring, and analysis) of relevant KPIs in the Wind Power depth structures

  • Support and coordination of the Forecasting and Budgeting Process for Wind Power including the setting of standards and regulations of the process.

  • Go to person for Business Unit and Function Controlling Leaders for matters related to the month end/quarter end closing process as well as the budget.

  • Support consolidation of structural cost controlling (including headcount) for Wind Power as well as analyses and recommendations to support senior management in decision-making.

  • Proactive monitoring of Free Cash Flow in order to support not only financial reporting but also liquidity planning needs

  • Implement standards, harmonization & digitalization throughout the organization and support a positive change process in business controlling

  • The ability to work under pressure, analyze financial data, consolidate information and prepare executive reports in a meaningful manner with outstanding quality in English is a must for this role. You will need to liaise with multicultural teams on a cross-departmental level to develop reports and management presentations for both internal and external customers, whilst continuously improving our business analysis and information potential.

  • A highly competent controller who has many years of experience in commercial business topics, controlling and accounting with an emphasis on financial planning and reporting. Experience in performance controlling and/or a leadership role will be a plus.

  • Natural ability to build working relationships, with excellent communication skills to translate financials into key messages ready to be used by decision makers.

  • Strong data driven problem-solving skills, continuously striving for improving and automating regular activities with an open mind for change.

  • A business or accounting degree/qualification, expert in Excel, PowerPoint and SAP. Competence in Business Intelligence Platforms e.g. SAC, Power BI or digitalization tools like Alteryx, Snowflake is important.

  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
