The Senior Network Solution Architect designs and implements network security solutions, coordinates project requirements, and ensures compliance with corporate standards while integrating IT systems and network environments.
Job Summary: The Senior Network Solution Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing network and security solutions that align with corporate objectives. This role involves both network solution design for applications and supporting security operations, including security assessment, mitigation, and remediation solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in network architecture, security protocols, and cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal integration of IT systems and network environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic and operational planning related to the development of Software and Cloud applications.
- Architect and implement IT and Network systems across a broad range of environments, ensuring integration and compatibility with the target infrastructure.
- Review Front Door requests and lead requirements-gathering sessions to align with business and security needs.
- Assess the compatibility and integration of proposed products/services to ensure a unified architecture across interdependent technologies.
- Design and develop network and IT architecture solutions, including integrated processes, applications, data, and technology to resolve business challenges in alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
- Analyze and recommend security authentication solutions such as Federated Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and certificates to comply with corporate security policies.
- Take ownership of technical planning, architecture development, and specifications modifications.
- Collaborate with various internal teams and external partners to communicate prerequisites and production readiness criteria.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status and resource allocation for implementation.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience onboarding Infrastructure Projects into SDE, guiding PMs to comply with corporate security requirements for releases in JIRA, and providing attestation or remediation.
- Expertise in scanning for and identifying Quick Fixes/Operations, ensuring scans in VMT portal are triaged and resolved per SLA guidelines.
- Hands-on experience with NON-PROD SSL certificate renewal via ServiceNow Change RFCs and NOC JIRA tickets.
- Knowledge of updating and troubleshooting security policies, whitelisting on Web Application Firewalls (WAF) for applications, and implementing new policies.
- Proven experience in upgrading internet-facing sites and API Gateways to TLS 1.3 compatibility.
- Strong background in Security Solution Architecture for infrastructure releases, troubleshooting network-level issues, load balancers, WAF, CDN (Akamai), and proxy issues.
- Experience managing SSL certificate updates on Load Balancers for applications in non-production environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong understanding of cloud security architectures, zero-trust security models, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, liaising between security teams, developers, and business stakeholders.
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, Akamai CDN, and enterprise load balancers.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CISSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Working Conditions:
- Type of job: Temporary Contractor – 1 year with the possibility to extend
