Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Network Analyst to join our team and contribute to the managing, administering, and maintaining our Network Infrastructure Services. This includes overseeing network devices, associated software, local and wide area network connections, IOT Solutions, and communication links to ensure Moneris has a scalable, reliable, and efficient infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud, that supports its business operations.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Manager, Network Infrastructure

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

  • Collaborate with vendors and partners to negotiate pricing for cost-effective solution, design, manage WAN and IoT networks.

  • Work with telecom providers to use various technologies, including IoT, MPLS, DWDM, Azure, Internet Exchange, Internet implementations, and cellular providers.

  • Provide support, in an automated way when possible, to all Network services offerings.

  • Participate in projects with our teams and merchants to help design, coordinate various activities.

  • Accountable for identified service ownership offerings. Including the ownership of the service support queue and operational documentation.

  • Responsible for the escalations occurring in daily operations, including business-as-usual service and change requests, incident investigation, remediation, troubleshooting, and monitoring of network services, local and wide area network connections, branch offices, and Datacenter.

  • Rotational on-call is required to support 24/7 important and production systems.

  • In partnership with Infrastructure and Development teams, leads/participates in building the supporting networks for core in-house develop gateways, transaction and payment processing systems.

  • Support and develop technical standards and processes related to the network for the service offerings.

Your Moneris Career - What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum 7 years of experience working with IOT, WAN solutions and telecom providers design, implement and management.

  • Proficient in network, designs, administration, implementation, monitoring, support, and automation

  • Proficient in leading projects or project steps and communicating progress/approach with technical/non-technical peers/clients and leaders.

  • Proficiency in payment systems and the merchant acquiring business.
