About the Role & Team

As a Senior Motion Designer at PENN Entertainment, you will be an expert in crafting motion design that supports the user experience across digital products, including ESPN Bet, theScore, iCasino, and Penn Play. This role combines hands-on motion design work with stakeholder collaboration, requiring you to manage projects independently while aligning closely with UX and product teams. You are expected to be a subject expert in the Motion field, drive projects from start to finish and clearly delegate tasks to fellow designers in order to execute on your commitments on all things related to interactive design. This position is suited for a detail-oriented, self-driven designer who can turn complex user needs into impactful motion design that elevates brand identity and user engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Independently complete projects from concept to execution, creating animations, in-app experiences, and promotional content.
  • Act as a primary contact for stakeholder coordination on motion-related design needs.
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to produce seamless motion concepts and user flows.
  • Present design work to stakeholders, maintaining consistent quality and attention to detail.
  • Mentor other designers, sharing knowledge and fostering growth within the motion design team.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in motion design.
  • Expertise in Figma, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Cinema4D, and Rive.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design and motion design best practices.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to handle multiple projects and communicate clearly.
  • A strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality, innovative design.
