We are looking for a Senior Designer to join our Design Systems team to help lead and grow our mobile design system. Join a cross-functional systems team making multi-product impact for over 2 million patients and practitioners.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, release and iterate system oriented solutions and guidelines for our internal design system for iOS and Android
- Work as a mobile specialist internal to support key mobile projects and teams looking for guidance on mobile product
- Build a deep understanding and care for our practitioners and patient end users, as well as our internal design and engineering users.
- Provide critique and support to product teams as they work on mobile solutions
- Be an active partner in creating your team’s roadmap and strategic planning
- Champion usability and accessibility needs for our system
- Use the power of Figma to help our design system be seamless and easy to use
What you bring to the table:
- You have experience using and contributing to a living design system, mobile iOS design system experience is preferred
- You enjoy writing clear guidelines and best practices for others to use
- You have a strong history of improving software product experiences
- You believe in the power of reusable components and practices that help shape consistent, easy to use experiences
- You are collaborative — You enjoy jamming with other designers to share knowledge, and give feedback
- You are excited about the ever-changing landscape of design techniques, tools and expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on user-centered design
- Strong portfolio of work that demonstrates your design process and outcomes
- Proficiency in robust component design in Figma
- Experience building in design systems or other visual systems in Figma
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to balance multiple projects at once
- Experience leading design projects
