About The Role & Team

Webull Securities (Canada) Ltd. provides a mobile-first investing platform designed for today’s retail investors. As a global fintech company entering an exciting new phase of growth in Canada, our mission goes beyond launching a product, it is to build a trusted financial partner for Canadian investors.

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to join our growing team in Toronto. This individual will play a key role in shaping our presence in the Canadian market by bringing a deep understanding of local investing culture, values, and community. The ideal candidate will help us connect authentically with Canadian investors and drive meaningful brand engagement as we expand.

This role centers on three pillars: Local Connection, Brand Building, and Strategic Growth. You will be our local ambassador, responsible for embedding our brand into Canada’s financial fabric and developing meaningful pathways for business expansion.

In This Role, You Will

  • Build Local Relevance & Trust
    • Develop and nurture relationships with Canadian financial media, influencers, community organizations, and industry partners.
    • Localize our global messaging to reflect the values, communication style, and financial aspirations of Canadian investors.
    • Represent the brand at local industry events, roundtables, and networking forums.

  • Lead Community-Integrated Brand Building
    • Execute a brand strategy that positions us as a transparent, reliable, and education-focused player in the Canadian online trading space.
    • Develop and distribute locally resonant content—from market insights to investor education—that speaks directly to the Canadian context (e.g., RESP, TFSA, local market trends).
    • Manage local PR initiatives to build brand credibility and top-of-mind awareness.

  • Drive Partnership & Strategic Business Development
    • Identify and develop strategic partnerships with local businesses, educational institutions, and financial affiliates to create co-marketing opportunities and referral channels.
    • Explore and assess new local growth avenues, including potential B2B2C opportunities or niche market segments.
    • Collaborate with the global team to tailor product messaging and go-to-market approaches for the Canadian audience.

The Skills You Bring

  • Local Market Expertise: 5+ years of experience in marketing, business development, or strategic partnerships, with a proven track record of success specifically within the Canadian market. Experience in financial services, fintech, or a closely related sector is required.
  • Established Local Network: Must possess an active professional network within relevant Canadian circles, including financial media, community organizations, and potential business partners.
  • Regulatory & Cultural Fluency: In-depth understanding of the Canadian investment landscape and regulatory environment (IIROC/CSA). Must demonstrate the ability to adapt global messaging to authentically resonate with local investor values and communication styles.
  • Relationship-Driven Execution: A documented history of developing and executing initiatives that build trusted local brand presence and drive measurable growth. This includes experience with PR, local partnerships, and community-focused marketing.
