The Senior Marketing Automation Specialist is responsible for executing Wave’s customer-facing communications through our automation tools. They collaborate with business owners to craft and execute high-impact campaigns that achieve short- and long-term business objectives. They are responsible for the management and segmentation of our reachable audience and for measuring, tracking and reporting on campaign performance.

Here's how you'll make an impact:

  • Build & execute all customer communications across automated channels (primarily email, in-product notifications and push notifications) including the automation that powers them.
  • Devise & run experiments that improve key KPIs such as Open Rate, Click-Through Rate, Bounce Rate, Deliverability, etc.
  • Provide campaign reporting to stakeholders, collaborating with the Data team to create dashboards that provide insight into campaign and channel performance.
  • Optimize the outbound communications request, creation and measurement process, including ensuring strict conformance to naming conventions, owning the quality assurance process and creating the relevant documentation related to the processes established
  • Develop and execute audience segmentation strategies. Ensure the proper collection and transmission of data points that contribute to building effective, personalized marketing campaigns and collaborate cross-functionally to identify & track new segments.

You'll thrive here if you have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing automation
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to distill complex concepts and develop a common language across multiple teams.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible with working in a fast-paced, fluid environment with shifting deadlines and moving priorities.
  • Experience with Braze, liquid coding and HTML/CSS an asset.
