About The Role:

From Day One is expanding our live, in-person events to Canada, and we are looking for an experienced digital marketer to help us build our audience in Canada and recruit Canadian partners as well as play a key role in managing and expanding our marketing to US stakeholders.

Working closely with our Audience and Sales departments, this person will play a key role in building and executing our demand-gen, email-marketing, and audience development strategies. These strategies will include multi-channel marketing campaigns to build awareness, drive engagement, and nurture prospects.

The ideal candidate is an expert on CRMs and Salesforce, demand generation, B2B sales, outreach to prospective event attendees, content marketing, and email marketing, and has specific expertise in Canadian best practices for email marketing.

We’re looking for you to bring your expertise and creativity (and go beyond any “standard” B2B playbooks) to establish strategies and campaigns that will create excitement about and engagement with From Day One’s events and media content.

Requirements

Key responsibilities include:

  • Own all elements of demand generation from strategy to execution
  • Generate demand using a robust toolkit of methodologies, including direct email, paid media, content marketing, SEO, and social media
  • Run audience and B2B marketing campaigns
  • Leverage and evolve our marketing practices and CRM to nurture our leads and increase conversion rates
  • Conduct web research to identify opportunities for business development
  • Work with CRO, VP Sales, and CEO on marketing tactics and creative
  • Work closely with the senior Sales and Audience team members to support their outbound efforts through marketing assisted campaigns and collateral

Prerequisites:

  • 5+ years of demand generation marketing experience within a B2B context
  • Fluency in Canadian rules and best practices for email marketing
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRMs a plus
  • A Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus

  • This position requires a 4-year college/university degree at minimum. Candidates should have a strong academic background and a minimum of 5 years of full-time, professional post-graduation experience.

Benefits
  • This is a full-time salaried position. Starting salary is $100,000 CAD per year with opportunities for regular advancement and raises.
  • This position is remote, but please be available to meet with stakeholders based in or near the greater Toronto area if requested.
