As we embark on a strategic digital transformation journey, the role of Senior Manager, Supply Chain Planning Process will be pivotal in modernizing our supply chain planning capabilities across McCain Foods.
Reporting to the Director of Global Supply Chain Planning Transformation, the successful candidate will represent McCain's Supply Chain throughout the implementation of best-in-class technology for supply chain planning and S&OP. They will bring end-to-end supply chain planning expertise to the initiative and will ensure technology is designed, built, and deployed consistently. They will link all solution design decisions to the globally consistent process and represent the supply chain planning process throughout the testing, training, and deployment phases of the new technology implementation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead technology solution design, spanning all aspects of demand and supply planning
  • Bring together demand planning, supply planning, S&OP, and production scheduling into a cohesive technology solution, focused on speed to decision making and ease of use
  • Ensure alignment between new ERP and new planning technology solution design and the globally consistent S&OP process by engaging with global and regional process owners
  • Act as a change agent to ensure the new technology is absorbed into the global and regional ways of working and the program reaches its full potential
  • Provide guidance and support to functional analysts, regional SMEs, and other project team members, to improve the quality of the end-to-end solution
  • Collaborate with other business and technology teams along with external consultants
  • Provide escalation of critical decisions to the Steering Committee


Required Experience and Knowledge:

  • 5-7 years of supply chain experience across multiple functional areas
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced global environment
  • Thought leadership
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a bias towards action
  • Project management skills
  • Experience with deployment of ERP and/or planning technology

This role can be based out of any of our NA Corporate Offices -- Chicago, Toronto or Florenceville, New Brunswick.
