Boeing Global Services (BGS) as an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Category Strategy (Level L) for our site in Dallas, TX
Position Responsibilities:
  • Manages, develops, and motivates a group of Category Management Specialists
  • Build strategic cross-functional and cross-organizational partnerships to evangelize and achieve category goals
  • Sets strategic priority and drives key initiatives. Leads a team to develop and execute innovative and complex category management strategies that capture value
  • Ensures strong coordination and alignment with other supply chain leaders across BGS government services, and with Boeing defense, space and security.
  • Creates a culture of continuous improvement by communicating/deploying enterprise best practices.
  • Leverages supply base and industry relationships to achieve strategic goals.
  • Partners with enterprise stakeholders and industry to drive category vision into key activities such as long-term agreements, make-buy-transfer decisions and corporate initiatives.

  • Understanding Boeing's existing services portfolio, market positioning, organizational structure and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Typically 12 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Supply Chain Category Management, Strategy, or Supplier Management
  • 5+ years of experience in Aerospace Supply Chain
  • 3+ years of formal management experience
  • Ability to travel to support business and team requirements (approximately 10%-25%)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Education: Master of Business Administration
  • 15+ years of related experience
  • Supply chain category strategy
  • Defense aftermarket, parts and distribution experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $150,450 - $203,550
