💻 Role

As Senior Manager Strategic FP&A Sales, you will be a key player in the usage and reporting of financial and operational KPIs to inform leadership in areas of budgeting, reporting, forecasting and alignment between finance and sales leaders. 

  • Ownership of reporting to Whatnot leadership, including financial narrative development, in-depth understanding of drivers, and establishing data packages
  • Manage financial processes such as month-end reporting and variance analysis, forecasting, budget planning, and annual budgeting
  • Proactively provide insights and propose solutions to areas of risk and opportunity to influence business strategy
  • Partner closely with Sales Leadership, Revenue Operations and People Team in developing sales plans/quotas 
  • Streamline the forecast process, increase forecast accuracy, align across various teams and stakeholders and enable meaningful forecast reviews with leadership
  • Responsible for the development of data packages, both external and internal requests and cadenced reporting (subject matter expert)
  • Develop and maintain KPIs, including associated research, comparable company analysis, consolidation, data visualization and packaging

  • Experience working within Sales Finance and driving FP&A processes, preferably within a high-growth marketplace, e-commerce, creator platform, or startup environment
  • Prior experience partnering closely with sales organizations and developing sales compensation or commission models
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with a proven track record of transforming data into insights.
  • Collaborative and capable of influencing business partners to course correct, based on sound analysis and business judgment
  • You are comfortable operating on a small team and will get in the weeds to produce results in a fast-paced environment

💰Compensation

For Full-Time (Salary) US-based applicants: $190,000/year to $245,000/year + benefits + equity

The salary range may be inclusive of several levels that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be based on a number of factors including, level, relevant prior experience, skills and expertise. This range is only inclusive of base salary, not benefits (more details below) or equity.
