The role

SoFi is seeking a Senior Manager, Social Strategy to support the strategy and implementation of social marketing across SoFi’s brand and product initiatives.

This is a unique opportunity to expand and execute an ambitious social strategy, building upon our strategic approach, spearheading campaign and execution across creative approach, execution and measurement. You will partner closely with our internal team members, including our in-house creative studio, product marketing managers, data science, legal, compliance and media teams to drive awareness, consideration and ultimately member growth for SoFi.

Since our founding, we’ve expanded our personal finance offering to become the all-in-one finance super app that helps our members get their money right. What you'll do

  • Execute, iterate, and evolve our social strategy based on data and trends
  • Partner with brand and product teams to develop campaign approach rooted social behavior
  • Recommend social approach and channel strategy to achieve goals
  • Guide creative development to create platform-first, engaging content that answers the question “why would I care, why would I share?”
  • Spearhead social measurement and report on key learnings and opportunities to improve efficiency in achieving objectives 
  • Partner with media and performance teams to leverage paid influencer creative to efficiently  acquire new members and drive awareness
  • Partner closely with SoFi’s legal and compliance teams to ensure content adheres to regulatory conditions

What you'll need

  • Undergrad degree
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, at least 4-5 specifically in social media marketing
  • In-depth understanding of social channels (existing and emerging) and influencer/creator marketplace 
  • Strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong writing and communication skills 
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong EQ and ability to assess nuance in conversations and react accordingly 

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
