Job Purpose:
- The Senior Manager, R&D Continuous Improvement at TULKOFF FOOD PRODUCTS LLC is responsible for leading and managing the continuous improvement initiatives within the Research and Development department. This role is pivotal in driving process enhancements, fostering innovation, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products. The incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, implement strategic solutions, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage continuous improvement projects within the R&D department to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and innovation.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize R&D processes and workflows.
- Analyze data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team and across the organization.
- Provide leadership and guidance to R&D staff, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative.
- Prepare and present reports on improvement initiatives and their impact on the organization to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards in all R&D activities.
- Mentor and develop team members to build a high-performing R&D team focused on continuous improvement.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in research and development, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of leading continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and projects.
- Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements that enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address areas for improvement.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
