About Bedrock

Data is moving faster than security can keep up, fragmented across clouds, SaaS apps, and AI systems, without the context teams need to protect it. Bedrock Data built the industry's first Metadata Lake to solve this: a living map of all your data that shows what it is, where it lives, who's using it, and how sensitive it is, without ever moving the data itself. This lets enterprises automate security and governance at scale, making data protection continuous and invisible instead of manual and disruptive. Global leaders in technology, finance, healthcare, and biotech trust Bedrock Data to make data security operational. With a $25M Series A led by Greylock, Bedrock is led by repeat founders and technologists who built industry-leading enterprise platforms at Sumo Logic, Rubrik, and Cohesity. The Role

This position is designed for a product marketing professional who understands that data security is an operational challenge, not just a visibility problem. As Senior Manager, Product Marketing, you will help define the narrative for a new category. You will translate complex architectural innovations into clear business imperatives for CISOs, InfoSec teams, Data Officers, security architects, and others.

You will lead key elements of go-to-market strategy, driving measurable impact across the sales pipeline and product adoption. This role requires a balance of high-level strategic positioning and technical execution, building the foundational frameworks that allow Bedrock to scale. For the right candidate, this role offers a clear path to expanded leadership scope as the function grows.

Core ResponsibilitiesPositioning & Messaging
  • Define and refine differentiated positioning that distinguishes Bedrock from legacy scanners and next-gen DSPM vendors

  • Architect a differentiated narrative that shifts the market conversation from “visibility” to “operational resolution”

  • Develop persona-based messaging that articulates how a context-first approach reduces organizational risk and lowers total cost of ownership

Go-to-Market Leadership
  • Lead end-to-end GTM strategies for major platform releases, ensuring alignment across Product, Sales, and Customer Success

  • Define and monitor KPIs focused on pipeline contribution and win rate

Sales & Partner Enablement
  • Transform technical advantages into high-fidelity sales assets, including value-based pitch decks, competitive frameworks, and objection-handling guides

  • Enable the field to move beyond technical features to sell the vision

Market & Competitive Intelligence
  • Lead deep-dive persona research and win/loss analysis to refine Bedrock’s approach to the evolving cloud and AI security landscape

  • Conduct research into market trends, buyer behavior, and the competitive landscape to inform the product roadmap and commercial strategy

Thought Leadership & Content
  • Author content — whitepapers, executive presentations, webinars, technical briefs — that positions Bedrock as the definitive authority on operationalizing data security

  • Support demand generation efforts with high-impact assets that drive engagement through technical credibility and business logic

Qualifications
  • Experience: 6–10 years in B2B SaaS product marketing, specifically within cybersecurity or data infrastructure sectors

  • Strategic Acumen: Proven success leading or co-leading GTM initiatives that resulted in measurable revenue growth

  • Messaging Excellence: A portfolio demonstrating the ability to simplify complex architectures into compelling, outcome-oriented value propositions

  • Collaborative Mindset: Experience working as a strategic partner to Sales and Product organizations in high-growth, technical environments

  • Technical Literacy: Comfort navigating the modern data stack, including cloud-native architectures and the security requirements of AI-driven enterprises

  • Communication: Authoritative written and verbal skills; ability to influence both C-suite executives and technical practitioners
