Summary:

The Senior Manager, Procurement will play a critical role in driving strategic sourcing initiatives and optimizing procurement processes across Clio. This role will lead a team of procurement professionals and be responsible for developing and implementing innovative sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry best practices.
 

What you’ll work on:

Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation:

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic sourcing strategies for key categories across Clio

  • Conduct thorough market analysis, identify potential suppliers, and negotiate competitive contracts that deliver value and mitigate risk.

  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform sourcing decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Procurement Operations:

  • Oversee and enhance the day-to-day operations of the procurement function, including purchase order processing, contract management, and supplier performance management.

  • Implement and maintain robust procurement processes and controls to ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

  • Drive the adoption, utilization, and enhancement of Coupa at Clio.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of procurement professionals.

  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.

  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge.

Supplier Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring mutual satisfaction and continuous improvement.

  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and address any issues proactively.

  • Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the overall effectiveness of the procurement function.

  • Leverage technology and data analytics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in procurement.

  • Hold strong opinions on world-class best practices for procurement, systems, and processes.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, Finance, Legal, Compliance and IT.

  • Effectively communicate procurement strategies, policies, and performance metrics to stakeholders.

  • Proactively address stakeholder concerns and resolve any issues that may arise.

What you may have:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in procurement, with a strong emphasis on strategic sourcing and negotiation.

  • Proven experience in leading high-performing and cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated expertise in the implementation, operation, and augmentation of Coupa or similar platforms.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

The full salary range* for this role is $152,800 to $191,000 to $229,200 CAD.Please note salary bands may differ based on location and local currency. Additionally, benefit offerings may differ depending on the employee's location.

*We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum and the midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate. Please note there are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.
